guys with the 04/05 zx10rs whats the average miles you get to a full tank of fuel?

went a run to ireland at the weekend and got 96 before the fuel light started flashing!

depends how you riding if not to hard i will get 110 to 120 before light comes on
but i have also had the light on at 80 miles

The trick is how you fill it. Just when you think its full, keep the trigger going until you think you won't be able to shut the cap (the tank is soooooo flat that the last bit keeps on going for ever - fuel light to full for me is ~ 14)........

then, 70m on the track and 130+ on he road.

was,nt riding the bike that hard avg. 80 - 90 most of the way! think there was 2 times i hit 3 figures ( on private road of course!)

so its sounds like it aint that bad then! reserve tank must be fine, did 60 miles with the fuel light on, and when i got home still had a bit in the tank!

think the most i have had in the tank is 12 quid!

What he said. You need to fill it right up. 75-135 so far.
