Sorry to mention the word car,but there we go.Just put a new stereo in my motor, got a new connecting block to connect up to the iso connection. All works fine, but when the ignition is switched off,i lose all my settings/radio stations! The manual for the radio says connect the battery cable live to the stereo???What the Fu** is all that about.ANY HELP would be much appreciated.Cheers all .If anyone can explain, then explain simply.I hate cars at the best of times. :snakeman:

The problem is likely to be that one of the wires needs to be a permanent live (even with ignition off) - maybe the wiring want awry with the ISO block and it isn't goign to the HU. Suspect you'll need to disconnect and look for it with a test lamp ot multimeter - yellow would be my bet, but don't quote me on it.
