Bloody hell,
massively lobbed my lovely (Ti) 10 down the road a little while ago. The thing is a complete write off, thankfully I walked away without so much as a scratch. Got to be a good thing. Insurance were brilliant and paid out very quickly, so now i've gone and got me a newer one. 07 in green, complete with carbon Akras, tail tidy, seat cowl, double bubble, R&G protection all round, with a tiny 650 miles on it.........all for the sum of 6600. Bargain!!
Photos to follow when she's back from having her first service.

Gaz, a happy 10R owner again

I think what surprised me most was the headstock cracking right through the weld. Most unusual I thought.

Green this year seems to have gone to a more C1 shade, quite diff from last years. She still looks lush though..... Winker

I think the stiffness of the forks and the cast headstock leaves little room for absorbing the result is all the force going back to that join.

must be something to do with Ti

no, it is mine - replaced bodywork for the track. Lowsided about 70mph. All is nice and calm when you are sliding down the road until you hit the gravel trap. At which point, things start going hectic.

Long and the short of it mate, I screwed up. Had a brills ride out to Poole with a guy on his 10R and a guy on a 7R. turned off to go home, starting to get dark, so was riding with visor up, (visor was dark tint and toppers with flies). Got hit in the eye by big fly, instinctively put my visor down, whilst going into a bend, misjudged it and hit the Devon bank. I landed on top of the hedge and just rolled off it. Bike as you can see was a different matter.
Still I'm alright and now have a loads of bits to sell, and have a newer bike out of the deal!!
