I've just had my left foot peg snap off my 2004 ZX10r exiting a roundabaout at slow speed on Sunday, but not only that, my right foot peg snapped off on Thursday evening also. Managed to stay onboard, just, on Thursday night, but a change of underwear was required ;-[

Haven't got the pegs down yet, sad eh and the bike has only done 11K miles so I am dealing with Kawasaki to see if they can investigate further because if they had snapped at speed, I wouldn't be writing this now!

Spoke to Kawasaki and they said they hadn't heard of this happening before, but fair play, they have agreed to replace both of the foot pegs free of charge. the only thing is, I don't trust these foot pegs anymore, they don't look substantial enough. I'm 6'2" (90Kg/14st) so not exactly a lard arse.
