see, that was also the problem with the ZX9 - too heavy, not enough power, no USD's, etc and the press didn't like it (or weren't paid enough to like it).

the 04 zx10 was the same - but had shite tyres that didn't help.

Wait till Masterbike(?????) do their annual test - then see who wins.....

Got to agree, have read several tests where the new 10 has been given a right slagging off, though in the last 'Ride' feature they rated it very highly, perhaps with better tyres it will start to win a few more hearts.
It does seem that some journos have their heads so far up some manufacturers arses it's hard to tell where they stop and the bike makers/importers start!! Shock

Yeeeehhhhaaahhhh,
she's here, a lovely, beautiful, sexy beast of a bike. The missus says she's glad I'm having my midlife crisis by buying this bike and not shagging loads of other women, (not that I couldn't being essence and all), but I'm a happy happy bunny.

Pics to follow real soon, just got to run her in, having only covered 63 miles so far!!! I've been told to keep it below 4K till the first service which is 63mph exactly... Crying or Very sad Then up to 6K for another couple hundred miles, then can blast it Very Happy

Bit of a bummer that it rained on the way home, but I've just spent the last 2 hrs cleaning it back to showroom condition. (got to keep up the standard).

Big_Gaz 6'1'' 15st 12lbs...now the proud owner of a lovely 10R

Still with a (brilliant) E1 for sale

Col,
check the gallery, ''300 horses in such a small paddock"

Will post more later as there is a distinct lack of 10s in the gallery! Sad
